The Annual Dinner

The Community Guide

The Community Guide is a resource tool mailed to and used by over 18,000 area residents. It is also usedby business professionals and interested parties looking to move to the area. The guide features thebusinesses that are members of the Huntley Chamber. The community guide also contains usefulinformation on surrounding village, school districts, community establishments, churches and much more.The committee is made up of a chairperson, a Huntley Chamber employee and chamber members at large.Generally the group will consist of at least five people. The main focus of the committee is to help obtainadvertisers for the guide. Responsibilities would include but are not limited to, brainstorm ideas for theguide cover, meet on a regular basis to discuss any issues or opportunities, phone calls to possibleadvertisers and proofing of the copy. Although there are a few months of hard work put into this project,the final piece makes working with this committee very rewarding.

The Home & Business Expo

Held annually, usually in late February or the first weekend in March the expo draws over 3,500 visitors, boasts over 135 exhibitors and is an excellent affordable opportunity forthe business community to showcase their products and services to the public. The committee consists of achairman, show management team and 3 committee members. The responsibilities of the committeeinclude overseeing the production of the show and on-site exhibitor assistance during the show.

The Golf Outing

The Website & Marketing Committee

The Website & Marketing Committee has been formed to create a uniformed marketing presence for theChamber website and all marketing tools.

The Economic & Development Committee

The Spring/Fall Committee

The Spring / Fall Committeeis usually an event in April or late May and/or October.

The Finance Committee

The Finance Committee is a year round commitment to gain Committee input and develop the yearly budget for Board approval.
