Huntley Library The Huntley Public Library provides a wide range of services to residents. Over 25,000 people in our district have library cards. The library has a collection of nearly 100,000 titles. The 15,000 square foot library facility opened in July of 1999. The library offers books, magazines, audio CD's, audiobooks, CD-ROMs, videos and DVDs. There are 25 public computers available to use for free on a first-come-first-serve basis. Black and white and color printers and a copy machine are also available for a minimal fee.

Huntley Park District The Huntley Park District provides park and recreational services for Village residents. Park programs include a variety of recreational opportunities for residents of all ages. There are eight (8) present or planned parks in the corporate limits of the Village encompassing approximately 132 acres of land. The Park District recently opened Stingray Bay, a family aquatic center built on 27 acres of land. |

School District 158 Community Unit School District Number 158, serves the majority of the educational needs of Village residents. District facilities include three elementary schools, one middle school and one high school. School District Number 300 services areas in the southern part of the Village. |

Village of Huntley Huntley covers 10.45 square miles and currently has a population of 16,719. The Village's 2005 Special Census estimates the Village's population is currently 16,719. The Northeastern Illinois Planning Commission estimates the population will rise to 44,435 by year 2030. |
