The guide is a resource tool mailed to and used by over 19,000 area residents in District 158. It is also used by business professionals and interested parties looking to move to the area.  The guide features over one hundred businesses and a listing of all Huntley Chamber members.  The community guide also contains useful information on surrounding village, school districts, community establishments, churches and much more.  The committee is made up of a chairperson, a Huntley Chamber employee and chamber members at large.  Generally the group will consist of at least five people.  the main focus of the committee is to help obtain advertisers to make the guide either a moneymaker for the chamber or at the very least, turnkey.  Responsibilities would include but are not limited to, brainstorm ideas for the guide cover, meet on a regular basis to discuss any issues or opportunities, phone calls to possible advertisers, (members and non-members) and proofing of the copy.  Although there are a few months of hard work put into this project, the final piece makes working with this committee very rewarding.

The Home & Business Expo is held annually, usually in late February or the first weekend in March.  The expo draws over 6,500 visitors, boasts over 165 exhibitors and is an excellent affordable opportunity for the business community to showcase their products and services to the public.  The chamber contracts with chamber member OSS Mail & Marketing to produce and manage the show.  The committee consists of a chairman, show management team and 3-4 committee members. The responsibilities of the committee include overseeing the production of the show and on-site exhibitor assistance during the show.
